Scholarship: P.E.O. STAR Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements: A woman is eligible to be recommended for the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship provided she: (1) exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service, and potential for future success; (2) has a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; (3) plans to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States or Canada, full-time or part-time, in the fall of the academic year following high school graduation; and (4) is recommended by and receives the vote of a local P.E.O. chapter. 

Lexington Chapter: There are 4 PEO chapters in Lexington and there is an interview process as each chapter can only nominate one girl. Once the chapter makes its selection, the application form is sent to the applicant. You will be competing against other applicants from around the country. The scholarship award is $2500. 

Application Deadline: Between August 15 - October 15th
