Family Engagement: Erika’s Lighthouse regularly hears from educators and teens about the need to educate and engage families. Erika’s Lighthouse has designed information, resources, workshops, and more to equip school communities to better interact with families around depression and mental health.
The resource provides a wealth of information to help parents better understand warning signs, steps they can take, and resources to support them and their families. It was developed in collaboration with the Nebraska Public Policy Center under the GLS Youth Suicide Prevention Grant and was also vetted by national experts.
