Scholarship: Davis-Chambers Scholarship

Description: The Davis-Chambers Scholarship recognizes academically promising students from diverse backgrounds who often find that the financial requirements of postsecondary education are a major obstacle.  Qualified applicants should be graduates of a Nebraska high school and a resident of Nebraska.

The scholarship commitment can equal up to the full direct cost of attendance.  The typical award is between $2,000 and $4,000 a year.  Each applicant is required to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as additional resources may be available to students with financial needs.

Application Deadline: 

• February 1st for the following colleges:

  • University of Nebraska-Kearney

  • University of Nebraska-Lincoln

  • University of Nebraska-Omaha

• April 1st for the following community colleges:

  • Central Community College

  • Mid-Plains Community College

  • Southeast Community College

  • Metro Community College

  • Northeast Community College

  • Western Community College
