Scholarship: Kansas State University - Carl R. Ice College of Engineering Scholarships
Description: The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering understands the importance in the return on your educational investment. More than $4 million of college and degree program scholarships are awarded to new and returning students each year. Engineering scholarships can be received in addition to other university scholarships or awards.
In addition, K-State engineering has renewable scholarships available for eligible students!
First-year students receiving a renewable award must be enrolled as a full-time student in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering taking a minimum or 12 credit hours of K-State coursework while making academic progress toward an engineering degree each semester. Students must receive a first-year award to be eligible for renewal.
Scholarships:
Ice Scholars are a prestigious group of incoming high school students who have been truly outstanding, both academically and as student leaders, during their high school career. Students recognized as Ice Scholars will receive the largest scholarship award made by Kansas State University’s Carl R. Ice College of Engineering. This scholarship is awarded each year and is awarded in addition to any other support a student would receive from the university (i.e. a general university scholarship or award). Deadline to apply is December 1st.
Renewable for up to four years
$30,000 total award value on top of general university scholarships/awards
K-State has a limited number of competitive scholarships for future engineering students. All incoming first-year students may apply to be considered for these awards by filling out the competitive scholarship application by December 1st. Scholarships are based on academics, leadership, involvement and community service.
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering is a university partner with Project Lead The Way (PLTW) in offering a minimum of two $500 one-time scholarships for first-year engineering students. Apply by March 31 each academic year.
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering is a university sponsor of FIRST Robotics and offers up to three $1,000 one-time scholarships for first-year engineering students. Apply by March 31 each academic year.
