Scholarship: University of Nebraska-Kearney - Merit Scholarships
Description: First-time freshmen are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships at UNK based on their GPA, transcripts, and ACT/SAT scores. If you have at least a 3.7 GPA, and at least a 22 composite ACT, your information will be reviewed for one of the following scholarships:
Presidential Scholar – 36 ACT – Full Cost of Attendance plus a $5,000 annual stipend
Regents – 32+ ACT. Full Tuition AND room waiver for campus housing. Renewable up to 120 credit hours. Open to Nebraska Residents.
UNK Chancellor’s Scholarship – 28+ ACT and 3.9+ HS GPA. $7,000 toward tuition and $2,000 toward campus housing, annually. Renewable up to 4 years.
UNK Distinguished Scholar Award – 26+ ACT and 3.7+ HS GPA. $5,000 toward tuition and $1,000 toward campus housing, annually. Renewable up to 4 years.
Loper Achievement Scholarship – 24-25 ACT and 3.7+ HS GPA. $4,000 toward tuition annually. Renewable up to 4 years.
Loper Recognition Scholarship – 22-23 ACT and 3.7+ HS GPA. $2,000 toward tuition annually. Renewable up to 4 years.
