Scholarship: Do the FAFSA Nebraska Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Nebraska high school senior

• Complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA

• Plan to attend a Nebraska college or university next Fall

• Be a US citizen or permanent resident and a Nebraska resident

Verification:

As part of the application process, you will be asked to upload verification of your FAFSA completion. Acceptable forms of verification include:

• A copy of your FAFSA confirmation email from the U.S. Department of Education.

• The first page of your FAFSA Submission Summary (do not upload the entire document).

• A screenshot of your Eligibility Overview page from your Federal Student Aid account.

Application Opens: October 1st

Deadline: April 16th 

• EducationQuest will randomly select 12 students each month from November through March to receive the award, with four students chosen from each of Nebraska’s three congressional districts. In April, EducationQuest will randomly select 15 students, with five from each congressional district.
