Scholarship: Nebraska Salvation Army - D.J. Hero’s Awards Scholarships

Description: Select Nebraska high school seniors who have overcome adversity will be chosen to receive the scholarships-named in honor of the late D.J. Sokol-for commitment to others and to their communities.  Honorees will be selected by a panel of metro-area civic leaders. Each Hero Awards Scholarship winner will receive a $12,000 scholarship toward their selected college or university.

The scholarships will be presented at the D.J.’s Hero Awards Luncheon on [date to be announced]. Attendance is required for award winners, within reason. The Salvation Army will provide hotel accommodations for all scholarship winners & their parents or chaperones.

Application Deadline: March 12th 

D.J.’s Hero Awards nominations and their nominees must be submitted electronically.
